What is POP (Proof of Play)?

POP (Proof of Play) is a 5-level deterministic arcade shooter. Fight through 30 waves and 10 bosses. Every input is recorded and every score is verified by replaying your game server-side. No fake scores. No hacks. If you're on the leaderboard, everyone can watch your replay.

How the tournament works

A fresh seed drops at 00:00 UTC on May 4th. No one has seen it before.
The same seed runs all day. Playing again is the exact same game — practice and refine your strategy.
Your single highest verified score is your leaderboard position.
Top 10 displayed. Top 5 get paid.
The winning replay will be featured on the GameFilm home page with top billing.
Ties go to whoever set the score first. Timestamps are shown.
All replays are public. Anyone can verify any score.

How to enter

Create an account at auth.surajshetty.com with a verified email.
Connect a wallet (Ethereum-compatible) in your account settings. No wallet, no entry — your score won't appear on the tournament leaderboard without one.
Practice now at gamefilm.org. The tournament seed will be different, but your skill transfers.
Play on May 4th. Both game launch and completion must happen within the tournament window.

Fair play

Anticheat systems run on every submission. Flagged games are automatically excluded.
The Admin may flag any game, disqualify any score, or ban any player at sole discretion.
Automation tools, input macros, game exploits, and multiple accounts are grounds for disqualification.
Accounts with a single game and an abnormally high score may be subject to additional review.
Bots will be permanently banned.

Payout

USDC on the Mantle network, sent to your connected wallet.
Payout by 12:00 PM UTC, Monday May 5th.
No wallet at payout time = prize forfeited. Prizes do not roll down.

Authority

The Admin has full and final authority over all tournament decisions. All rulings are final. Bugs and disputes can be reported via the bug reporting beetle on the site.

This is a good faith giveaway to reward players of a fun game. Rules are subject to change at any time. One account per person.
